With that said, we should probably all go do something now.
I remember hearing that we deeply underestimate how valuable procrastination is to us. We usually assume we can shamelessly extract productive hours away from our idle ones, as if those moments scrolling pages on the internet are just begging for us to be used in something else. The problems come after we forcefully replace those hours with some “productive” activity. It works fine at first, but soon we start missing them more and more until we eventually return to our original habits. I call that cycle, the productivity/procrastination Merry Go ‘Round!
